大正新修大藏经第 01 册 No. 0090 鞞摩肃经 No. 90 [No. 26(209)] 佛说鞞摩肃经 宋天竺三藏求那䟦陀罗译 闻如是: 一时,婆伽婆在舍卫城祇树给孤独园。于是,鞞摩肃(姓也)异学,中食后行,彷徉而行至世尊所。到已白世尊曰:“唯,瞿昙!形色极无上妙。” “此迦旃延!云何为色妙?” “此瞿昙!谓色妙极妙,更无有妙最胜者,最妙最好彼色最妙,彼色最上最好。” “犹若,迦栴延!有人作是说:‘人中有妙者我欲淫之。’或有作是言:‘汝谓此人中妙者,字是姓是像是?若长若短若中?若端正不端正?若白黑?若刹利女、婆罗门女、居士女、工师女?东方南方西方北方?’问已不能报。” “汝不知不见,谓此人中妙至北方,而言欲淫。” “此迦旃延!汝所言彼色为最妙,彼色为最上,彼色无上,问色已不能知。” “犹若,瞿昙!阎浮檀金,巧工师子极磨治净著白器中,形色极妙,色有所照。是故,瞿昙!我作是说,色为最妙,色为最胜,彼色为最胜,彼色无上,彼色最上。” “是故,迦旃延!我还问汝,随所思还报之。于迦旃延意云何?此阎浮檀金,巧师子极磨治净,著白器中形色有照,谓此即照虫于闇冥时,色妙色有所照,谁光最胜最上最妙最好说?” “此瞿昙!即照虫于阎浮檀金,光明最胜最上最好最妙说。” “于迦旃延意云何?即照虫于闇冥时,光明有所照;谓油灯明于闇冥时,光明有所照;谁光明最胜最妙最好最上?” “唯瞿昙!油灯光明于即照虫,光明最胜最上最妙最好。” “于迦旃延意云何?谓油灯光明,于夜闇冥有所照;谓此大火积,于夜闇冥光明有所照;谁光明最胜最上妙好?” “唯瞿昙!火积光明于油灯,光明最胜上妙好。” “于迦旃延意云何?谓火积于闇冥时光明有所照;谓星过夜半天晴无云曀,光明有所照;谁光明最胜上妙好?” “唯瞿昙!星光明于火积,光明最胜上妙好。” “于迦旃延意云何?谓星过夜半已,天晴无云蔽,光明有所照;谓月夜欲半,天无云蔽,光明有所照;谁光明最胜上妙好?” “唯瞿昙!月光明于星,光明最胜上妙好。” “于迦旃延意云何?谓月夜欲半,天晴无云蔽,光明有所照;谓日于夏时,日中光明有所照;谁光明最胜上妙好?” “唯瞿昙!日光明于月,光明最胜上妙好。” “此迦旃延!彼多有天诸谓如是威神,极有所能,光明所不及,我本在中坐,本在中有所说,我不作是说,光明最胜光明最上光明最妙。汝迦旃延!谓即照虫光明最下最不如,而说言是最上最胜最妙耶?问光明已而不能知。”于是鞞摩肃异学,被世尊面责,默然住无有言,身面污,回面无言默然住。 于是世尊而责鞞摩肃已,还欲令言,告鞞摩肃异学曰:“复次迦旃延!有五姓欲爱念爱色近淫染着,眼知色、耳知声、鼻知香、舌知味、身知细滑。此迦旃延!或有爱色,或有不爱色,谓或有一于色欢喜具满,喜意所念亦满,于彼色于余色,不欲不思,不欲得不愿求,是彼色最为妙最为上。此迦旃延!或有一爱声香味细滑,或有一不爱滑,或有一细滑者欢喜具满,喜意所念亦满,于彼细滑更余细滑,不欲不思,不欲得不愿求,是彼细滑最上最妙。” 于是鞞摩肃异学叉手向世尊,白世尊曰:“甚奇瞿昙!而沙门瞿昙无量方便,为我说淫乐求淫乐。犹若瞿昙!草木因火然,火因草木然。如是我,沙门瞿昙!以无量方便说于淫,说淫乐求淫乐止。” “迦旃延!汝为不善于此长夜作异见、作异忍、作异欲、作异求,我此所说等与等知其义。此迦旃延!我弟子诸比丘,晨起及暮常不眠卧,常行讲论必成等道,具足分别,生得尽、梵行已成、所作已办、名色已有,知如真。我此所说,等与等知其义。” 于是鞞摩肃异学,于世尊极瞋恚,极怀恨不欢喜,说世尊、诽世尊、骂世尊:“如此沙门瞿昙!为非。”骂说已,白世尊曰:“此瞿昙!或有一沙门婆罗门,不知过去世,不知当来世,无量生世间,而记说圣,生已尽、梵行已成、所作已办、名色已有,知如真。是故,瞿昙!我作是念:‘云何或一沙门婆罗门,不知过去世,不知当来世,无量生世间,而记说圣,生已尽、梵行已成、所作已办、名色已有,知如真?’” 于是世尊作是念:“念此鞞摩肃异学!于我极瞋恚、极怀恨、不欢喜,诽谤我、骂詈我:‘此沙门瞿昙!我骂说之。’而白我曰:‘此瞿昙!或有一沙门婆罗门,不知过去世至知如真。’”世尊知已,告鞞摩肃异学曰:“此迦旃延!或一沙门婆罗门,不知过去世,至知如真,彼时应作是言:‘置过去世,置当来世,不应念一生。’复次,迦旃延!我作是说:‘置过去世,置当来世,不应念一生。我弟子诸比丘,不谀谄亦不幻,质直行,我教授之、我为说法,如所设则能学,近于法知有善。’犹若,迦旃延!年少童男,彼父母或系手足,于彼时有智生,彼父母解手足,彼但忆解不忆缚。如是,迦旃延!我作是说:‘置过去世,至知有善。’犹若迦旃延!因油灯炷则得然,或有人不更着油、不更易炷,前者皆尽后亦不益,不久速灭。如是,迦旃延!我作是说:‘置过去世,至知有善。’犹若迦旃延!有十积木,二十三十四十五十六十积木,火烧然而然,则知有大火积。或有人更不着薪、不着草、不着牛粪、不着䴸、不着扫,不久皆尽亦不更着,不久速灭。如是,迦旃延!我作是说:‘置过去世,至知有善。’” 说此时,鞞摩肃异学,远尘离垢诸法眼生。于是鞞摩肃异学,见法得法,了法清净法,离邪离疑,更无尊天不复信他,离诸犹豫得立果,于世尊境界得无畏法。从坐起,头面礼世尊足:“唯世尊!我宁可得于世尊学道,受具足为比丘,于世尊所行于梵行,此比丘当行梵行。”彼鞞摩肃,则于世尊学道,受具足为比丘。尊者鞞摩肃,学道受具足,知法至成阿罗汉。 佛如是说。鞞摩肃闻世尊所说,欢喜而乐。 佛说鞞摩肃经
