大正新修大藏经第 01 册 No. 0087 斋经 No. 87 [No. 26(202), Nos. 88, 89] 佛说斋经 吴月氏国居士支谦译 闻如是: 一时,佛在舍卫城东丞相家殿。丞相母名维耶,早起沐浴着彩衣,与诸子妇俱出,稽首佛足,一面坐。佛问维耶:“沐浴何早?”对曰:“欲与诸妇俱受斋戒。”佛言:“斋有三辈,乐何等斋?”维耶长跪言:“愿闻何谓三斋。” 佛言:“一为牧牛斋,二为尼犍斋,三为佛法斋。牧牛斋者,如牧牛人求善水草饮饲其牛,暮归思念何野有丰饶,须天明当复往。若族姓男女已受斋戒,意在家居利欲产业,及念美饮食育养身者,是为如彼牧牛人意,不得大福、非大明。 “尼犍斋者,当月十五日斋之时,伏地受斋戒,为十由延内诸神拜言:‘我今日斋,不敢为恶;不名有家,彼我无亲,妻子奴婢非是我有,我非其主。’然其学,贵文贱质无有正心,至到明日相,名有如故。事斋如彼者,不得大福、非大明。 “佛法斋者,道弟子月六斋之日受八戒。何谓八? “第一戒者,尽一日一夜持,心如真人,无有杀意、慈念众生,不得贼害蠕动之类,不加刀杖,念欲安利莫复为杀,如清净戒以一心习。 “第二戒者,尽一日一夜持,心如真人,无贪取意、思念布施,当欢喜与、自手与、洁净与、恭敬与、不望与,却悭贪意,如清净戒以一心习。 “第三戒者,一日一夜持,心如真人,无淫意、不念房室,修治梵行,不为邪欲、心不贪色,如清净戒以一心习。 “第四戒者,一日一夜持,心如真人,无妄语意,思念至诚、安定徐言,不为伪诈、心口相应,如清净戒以一心习。 “第五戒者,一日一夜持,心如真人,不饮酒、不醉、不迷乱、不失志,去放逸意,如清净戒以一心习。 “第六戒者,一日一夜持,心如真人,无求安意,不着华香、不傅脂粉、不为歌舞倡乐,如清净戒以一心习。 “第七戒者,一日一夜持,心如真人,无求安意,不卧好床,卑床草席,捐除睡卧,思念经道,如清净戒以一心习。 “第八戒者,一日一夜持,心如真人,奉法时食,食少节身,过日中后不复食,如清净戒以一心习。” 佛告维耶:“受斋之日当习五念。何谓五? “一当念佛。佛为如来,为至真,为等正觉,为明行足,为善逝.世间父.无上士.经法御.天人师,号曰佛。是念佛者,愚痴恶意怒习悉除,善心自生思乐佛业。譬如以麻油澡豆沐头,垢浊得除。斋念佛者,其净如是,众人见之莫不好信。 “二当念法。佛所说法三十七品,具足不毁思念勿忘,当知此法为世间明。是念法者,愚痴恶意怒习悉除,善心自生用乐法业。譬如以麻油澡豆浴身,垢浊得除。斋念法者,其净如是,众人见之莫不好信。 “三当念众。恭敬亲附依受慧教,佛弟子众,有得沟港受、沟港证者,有得频来受、频来证者,有得不还受、不还证者,有得应真受、应真证者,是为四双之八辈丈夫,皆为戒成、定成、慧成、解成、度知见成,为圣德、为行具,当为叉手天上天下尊者福田。是念众,愚痴恶意怒习悉除,喜心自生乐众之业。譬如以淳灰浣衣,垢污得除。斋念众者,其德如是,众人见之莫不好信。 “四者念戒。身受佛戒一心奉持,不亏不犯、不动不忘、善立慎护、为慧者举、后无所悔、不以有望、能等教人。是念戒者,愚痴恶意怒习悉除,喜心自生乐戒统业。如镜之磨,垢除盛明。斋念戒者,其净如是,众人见之莫不好信。 “五当念天。第一四天王,第二忉利天,盐天,兜术天,不憍乐天,化应声天,当自念:‘我以有信、有戒、有闻、有施、有智,至身死时精神上天,愿不失信戒闻施智。’是念天者,愚痴恶意怒习悉除,喜心自生乐天统业。譬如宝珠,常治清明。斋念天者,其净如是。 “奉持八戒,习五思念,为佛法斋,与天参德,灭恶兴善,后生天上,终得泥洹。是以智者自力行,出心作福。 “如是,维耶!斋之福祐明誉广远,譬是天下十六大国,是十六国满中众宝不可称数,不如一日受佛法斋。如此其福者,则十六国为一豆耳。天上广远不可称说,当今人间五十岁,为第一天上一日一夜,第一四天上寿五百岁,彼当人间九百万岁。佛法斋者,得生此天上。人间百岁为忉利天上一日一夜,忉利天寿千岁,当人间三千六百万岁。人间二百岁为盐天上一日一夜,盐天寿二千岁,当人间一亿五千二百万岁。人间四百岁为兜术天上一日一夜,兜术天寿四千岁,当人间六亿八百万岁。人间八百岁为不骄乐天上一日一夜,不骄乐天寿八千岁,当人间二十三亿四千万岁。人间千六百岁为化应声天上一日一夜,化应声天寿万六千岁,当人间九十二亿一千六百万岁。若人有信、有戒、有闻、有施、有智奉佛法斋,当命尽时,其人精神,皆生此六天上,安隐快乐。猗善众多我少说耳,凡人行善,魂神上天受福无量。” 维耶闻佛语,欢喜言:“善哉善哉!世尊!斋之福德甚快无量,愿受佛戒。从今已后月月六斋,竭力作福至死。” 佛说经已,皆欢喜受教。 佛说斋经
