大正新修大藏经第 01 册 No. 0048 是法非法经 No. 48 [No. 26(85)] 佛说是法非法经(出《中阿含》) 后汉安息国三藏安世高译 闻如是: 一时,佛在舍卫国祇树给孤独园。是时,佛告诸比丘,比丘应曰:“唯然。”比丘从佛听。佛说:“有贤者法,比丘听说,亦有非贤者法,当听熟听、熟知熟念说。”比丘唯然,从佛受教,佛便说是。 “何等比丘非贤者法?若比丘大姓,喜道欲学道,若有余同学比丘非大姓,比丘大姓故,为自憍身欺余,是非贤者法。 “何等为贤者法?贤者学计是我不必从大姓,能断贪淫、能断瞋恚、能断愚痴。或时有比丘非大姓家,但有方便受法,如法说、如要行、随法行,为从是名闻故;如法行、随法谛,不自誉,亦不欺余,是贤者法。 “或时一者比丘,色像多端正,余比丘不如,便从端正故自誉欺余,是非贤者法。贤者复不尔,贤者自计,色端正我不必从是,能断贪淫、能断瞋恚、能断愚痴。或时有比丘不端正,但随法多少受行,便从是得誉得名闻,受法谛随法行,不自誉亦不欺余,是贤者法。 “或时一者比丘,善语言善说,余比丘不如,便从善语言善说自誉欺余,是非贤者法。贤者复不尔,贤者学计是我不必从善美语,亦不从知善美说,能断欲贪、能断瞋恚、能断愚痴。 “或时比丘,言语不善美,亦不善说故,但如法受教,多少随行,便从是得恭敬,从是得名闻,是法从受法行谛,不自誉亦不欺余,是贤者法。 “或时是闻一者比丘,年大多知识,相知富饶,余比丘不如,便从年大从多知识,从是自誉自憍欺余,是非贤者法。 “贤者复不尔,贤者但念学计是我不必从年大故,亦不从多知识故,亦不从多得福故,能断贪欲、能断瞋恚、能断愚痴。 “或时比丘年亦不大,亦不多知识,福亦不饶,但受法,欲随法,欲随法行多少,便从是得名闻。是从法随法谛,不自誉不自憍亦不欺余,是贤者法。 “或时是闻一者比丘,知闻经能说经、知律知入通经,余比丘不如,便从入故、从通经故,自誉自憍欺余,是非贤者法。 “贤者复不尔,贤者但计学是我不必从入故,亦不从通经故,能断贪欲、能断瞋恚、能断愚痴。 “或时有比丘,无有入,亦不通经,但受法随法,正求随法行,便从是得恭敬得名闻。是从持法随法行谛,不自誉、不自憍亦不欺余,是贤者法。 “或时一者比丘,自求不从相知求,不过七家,一处坐一时食,从后不取,余比丘不如,便从一食后不取,自誉自憍欺余,是非贤者法。贤者复不尔,贤者但学,我不必从一食后不取不从,是故能断贪欲、能断瞋恚、能断愚痴。或时比丘不一食不从后取,但受法随法正受随法,从是得恭敬,从是得名闻;是法随法谛,不自誉、不自憍亦不欺余,是贤者法。 “或时一者比丘,土中冢间止,但三领名故,余比丘不如,便从名故,自誉自憍欺余,是非贤者法。 “贤者复不尔,贤者但计学我不必从三领名故,能断贪欲、能断瞋恚、能断愚痴。或时比丘,无有三领名,但受法随法,正受随法,便从是得恭敬得名闻;是法随法谛,不自誉、不自憍亦不欺余,是贤者法。 “或时一者比丘露中止,或时树下,或时空泽冢间,在所卧具,余比丘不如,便从是故,自誉自憍欺余,是非贤者法。 “贤者复不尔,贤者但计学我不必从是露中树下、空泽间故,能断贪欲、能断瞋恚、能断愚痴。 “或时比丘,无有是上说,但受法随法,正受随法,便从是得恭敬得名闻;是法随法谛,不自誉、不自憍、不欺余,是贤者法。 “或时比丘,已得第一禅,余比丘不如,便从第一禅故,自誉自憍欺余,是非贤者法。 “贤者复不尔,贤者但学第一禅者,佛说自知是,受是法谛,不自誉、不自憍、不欺余,是贤者法。 “或时比丘,有二禅德,或有三禅德,或有四禅德,如第一禅说,是贤者法。 “或时比丘,解空行意,或时解识行意,或时解非常行意,或时解无有思想意行有思想行意,余比丘不如,便从是得思想无有思想行,便自誉自憍亦欺余,是非贤者法。贤者复不尔,贤者但计学无有思想亦无有思想行,佛说从计我有是,是受法随法谛,不自誉、不自憍、不欺余,是贤者法。” 佛说:“比丘!我已说贤者法,亦说非贤者法,比丘当自思惟,贤者法亦当思惟。非贤者法已思惟,当行贤者法,舍非贤者法,受贤者法。随法比丘应当学是。” 佛说是,比丘受着心行。 佛说是法非法经
